Counting Stars

Had a random spontaneous stay at MBS with the xlbs last friday, headed to the lego exhibition while waiting for the guys to arrive, and it was soooo amazing. I remember lego being a huge part of my childhood; I wasn't the typical little girl who only played with barbie dolls and dressups, but rather I spent the bulk of my childhood building lego houses, pretended to be chefs with my mini stove and fake plastic foodtoys, and spent hours and hours on my playstation/computer building simscity/simshospital/simshouses. Come to think of it, I had a pretty strange boyish-childhood hahaha. I remember owning quite an extensive set of lego bricks, like I would buy and collect different editions and I had a mini corner in the living room dedicated to keeping my lego collection..... until I got older and starting neglecting my lego toys for books and school. Then my dad made this huge decision to give my entireeeee collection to my little cousin. :( I remember being so upset then that he didn't get my permission before he made that decision, but now I'm just glad that my collection is in good hands :) Anywayyyy, can't wait for the upcoming Mummy exhibition this end-April, but kinda of a bummer that photography isn't allowed :/

And last friday was a hellava stay, watching hantus/exorcism/ghost/prank videos at eerie timings, vlogging, talking shit, trolling in the toilet and having fake photoshoots hahahah and doing what we do best :) My friends are simply too darn mad spontaneous :3

And the morning after was spent at the infinity pool. Despite the crowd, the infinity pool is still darn awesome. :3

And here's a shameless attempt on my part with a reaaaally short cover of Rachel Yamagata's Elephants to end off this post. Loved the song, and tried to do up a brief cover (a quicker and slightly different version) after a friend posted about it recently... Excuse the shaky vocals/guitar playing tho :( Ahhh this is mad embarassing, but heck #yolo. :)

Equinox

Headed to Equinox for Mom's Birthday dinner. At Equinox, we were offered the view of Singapore city skyline as the restaurant was located on Level 70 of SwissĂ´tel The Stamford. Pay $20 more, and you can get window seats, which provides you with a closer panoramic view of MBS and Singapore flyer.

The food was not bad, definitely some hits and misses, but it was literally dining in the dark. Had a hard time trying to capture my photos, so these are the only few clearer ones left :( Sis reckons the dim lights were to allow patrons to better view the scenery outside. :/

That said, the lobster bisque and pavé was goooood. :D Maybe I should get Mom to bring me back there someday for their buffet spread. Heard it's way way better. :D
