Typical Friday Afternoons

Instead of going out like all the other kiddos, decided to coop myself up at home on a boring, typical Friday afternoon and whipped up some prawn aglio olio and baked portobello mushrooms. Mushroommmmmmssss - mega awesomeness dripping with melted mozzarella cheese. Yum yum. Recipe is extremely simple and fuss-free, can be done within 15 minutes. Great for an afternoon/mid-day snack heh. I am in mushroom para, paraaa, paradise. <:<:<:

Arbite

Sunday Brunch at Arbite with the girls this afternoon. Finally managed to visit this place after consistently seeing reviews about it on all the food blogs anddddd it was pretty okay! I thought the Tagliatelle was not that bad, but Trish said it pretty much felt like meepok hahaha. Was lucky to get a parking lot too - always, always died trying to park at serangoon gardens zzz.

Anyway, bummer that Kaii couldn't join us for brunch - that poor girl had to work on a Sunday!! :( Went to nex to disturb her after our meal hahaha, basically listening to her pitch and trying our best to absorb every bit of it. Kaii (if you're reading this) you can do it!!! :D:D $$$$$ hahaha. We'll brunch again sometime soon k ;)

Was playing around with the Enneagram personality test the other day, thanks to Jon, and my results at the end of it indicated that I was a Type VI. Not a huge surprise (to me, and most of my friends) as I knew I've always had some form of, as quoted by Joyce, "neuroticism" residing in me. Definitely no objections to that hahaha. But what puzzles me is how people around me continue to presume that I'm an E as classified by the MBTI test. Thought it was pretty indicative that I was and will always be an I, hmmm. Maybe I should retake my MBTI some time to verify that again. K sorry to bore with all the random musings hahaha, but studying personality traits is quite a pretty interesting field, eh?

Asia Grand Restaurant

Asia Grand Restaurant @ Odeon Towers with the extended family for a weekend lunch cause we are such huge fans of chinese cuisine, particularly in the dimsum area. Check out the ice-cream designed in the form of a peach! How cool is thatttt. And it was such a challenge snapping all these shots because my family eats fast and furiously hahaha. Ordered like a huge chunk of dimsum, and it was wiped out within 5 minutes. Hol.

Anyway, been recently catching up on a new drama - Nice Guy/Innocent Man. I'm not particularly a huge fan of such melodramatic dramas (more of a comedy fan XD) but this show is a must-watchhhh. Most of their conversations are superrr loaded and full of spite; plus Song Joong Ki's acting is too damn good! Kinda exhausting to watch too many episodes at one go though, pretty much angst overloaded. But still, go watch if you can!!:)

Min Jiang at One North

Celebrated Sis' Birthday at Min Jiang (at One North). It was pretty okay, 'cept that I wasn't really expecting a semi-alfresco kinda setting hahaha. And Mom bought a super yummy choc pistachio cake from Drips. Not a huge fan of desserts, but really liked the waffle base! Mmmm. :D Anyway, I reckon the outlet at Goodwood park ought to be better, at least in terms of accessibility, but One North still has this dempsey/indie appeal which I'm kinda diggin'. hahaha. And I want to check out the new Starvista mall at BV!! Heard that there's loads of quaint cafes there - *cue* brunchhhhhhh! :D Speaking of which, I haven't had one in a while. When, my dear brunch buddies, when??? :)

RAVEN RECESS RETREAT

A night of mad intense fun and jaw-dropping confessions. So glad that we were all finally able to freely open up to each other yesterday night, <3 y'all deep deep hahaha. May we be able to do this again sometime soon. RAVENAIRES. :))))))
